The Interior Design Society (IDS) is a professional association serving the design community with the focus of helping our members grow their businesses, develop their talents, inspire each other, and impact their communities.
Headquarted in High Point, North Carolina and boasting more than 2,000 members, IDS is a national organization that caters to the residential interior design industry. The group was originally founded in 1973 by the National Home Furnishings Association (NHFA) to provide support for interior designers operating out of furniture stores. Since then, IDS has grown and expanded its focus to all professional residential designers.
IDS maintains a code of ethics for its designer members which stresses honesty, integrity, and fairness. We have had the pleasure of working with IDS designers for several years and have witnessed first-hand the level of integrity and responsibility they bring to each project.
Dallas Rugs has participated in multiple events with the local chapter of IDS, including a partnership with Feeding Children Everywhere, where we prepared hundreds of meals for those going hungry. We love giving back to the community, and we appreciate the engaging opportunities provided by IDS.
